Alan Simpson

Alan Simpson brings experience of project management in over 80 countries together with 35 years senior management experience in Business Development, Operations, Sales and Marketing, from small start up teams, to multi national market leaders.

He has spoken at the United Nations, New York on five occasions, testified before the House of Representatives, the US Senate, and keynoted major conferences, including at the prestigious Center for Strategic and International Studies, represented governments before public hearings requesting change in international rules, and facilitated major change policies for corporate and government leaders.

He has authored several hundred briefs for governments and corporations, as well as commentary and articles for print, online and electronic media. He is credited developing Open Source Intelligence for corporations in Europe and the United States since the 1970's. He conducts workshops in Europe and the United States.

For the Reagan Administration he gained unique experience surveying media facilities at 125 US Embassies and Consulates developing the WorldNet global television network, designing facilities at each location and negotiating with national and local governments for installation and carriage approval. He was also consultant to VisNews, BBC, Reuters, and CNN. With Philips he was responsible for global telecommunications networks for military, governments, utilities and corporations. With TMS he was responsible for developing global safety networks and procedures for Oil and Gas exploration. As RAF Aircrew he was responsible for surveillance and electronic intelligence gathering around the world. Prior to joining the Royal Air Force he was trained in Law Enforcement and RF engineering.

Alan Simpson is a Member of the National Press Club, Radio and Television News Directors Association, Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, AFIO and lives outside of Washington, DC. He was nominated for President of the National Press Club in 2003.
